Hello S-to-the-yp. So I have been posting comments on your blog, but lately they have stopped showing up. I think I might be caught in your spam filter. Could you look into that for me pretty please?

yup your recent post on my blog flagged you as spam for some reason so same is prob true at syps
Yeah I seem to be having that trouble with quite a few blogs. Just sent a few mails out to some people. Syp didn’t have an email listed anywhere. First I was going to post a comment on his “About” page, and then I realized the sheer irony of that endeavor.
Yup, you were flagged as spam, you should be good to go now. No idea why it flagged you.
Yeah, you were in my spam folder… I don’t know how Akismet works, but sometimes it likes to pick on particular people. Sorry about that!

That has happened to me before. Twice, actually. You (for whatever reason) get flagged as spam in the central akismet database and it is across all blogs.

Click the 4th radio down “I think Akismet is catching my comments by mistake” and write them that you’re not a spammer. Should be fixed in a day or so.

The only item from you in the spam folder was an item you stuck a URL in, a URL which had the phrase “filing your taxes” which is a common red flag for Askimet. Otherwise your comments from last week all appear unless you wrote more than 4 comments.
Ah OK! That was a reference to Murloc Parliment’s post on filing taxes. Alright, I guess I am off the hook on your blog then!

Well, that’s odd. Yeah, Akismet totally took you out. It should be fine now.
I don’t have the proper blog permissions to do anything about unapproved/spam comments on CSTM. If you send an email to Goldenstar, I’m sure she can sort that out for you.

You were in my spam filter as well. I’ve gotten out of the habit of checking it regularly, since real posts that wind up there accidentally are a rarity. Fixed now.
