“City of Steam Alpha Key Giveaway” or “A 3D MMO in Your Browser!”
I have ten alpha keys for City of Steam. I have a full preview pending over on Hooked Gamers, but suffice it to say, the game already shows a lot of promise and polish. The alpha is only available this weekend and can be accessed via your browser (the game uses Unity’s engine). So if you want to spend some time testing out a great little title in alpha, Saturday through Monday morning, just leave a comment below by Friday night. I will pick 10 at random, or if there are less than 10 comments, everyone will get a key!

Can you tell me why I’d want to play? So many games, so little time

Hah, me and my descriptiveness. It’s a steampunk/industrial fantasy style, 3D full featured but browser based MMORPG. Lots of quests, interesting storylines, and a really supportive player base. This will be the last Alpha weekend so good chance to get in on the game and make suggestions/demands even before Beta.
Is full screen working in this test?
For one, accessibility. This game will no ask you to download gigs of information, just a few megs and you’re all set to go. Same for loading times. It’s a quick easy game to jump in, play around, and, well, it’s free. Why wouldn’t you give it a peek?
For something more content-wise? We’ve got different quest storylines for every race, weapon upgrading/socketing with effects that show up on your gear, a vast metropolis to explore…A lot more than I could get into (and still keep this short). Did I mention an industrial/steampunk setting? And still in Alpha so plenty more to come. Anyway! Very much worth giving it 10 minutes of your time to see if it’s your kind of game
