“Annihilatin’ Planets” or “Kickstartin’”
Kickstarter is amazing. Not only is the movement allowing those with limited resources to pursue their ideas and explore their creativity, it is also giving us new games. In fact the first one is already out, and another just shot past the $2 million mark when all it needed was $990,000 in funding. You should be excited about both, and I will tell you why.
First, FTL launches today. I am not a huge fan of this one, although I can see why it may the cup of tea for someone else. But it is a historic moment because the first kickstarted game is officially going to be released!
Second, Planetary Annihilation is a title that started with a very inventive premise and a cool little trailer, which is embedded below. I think it will be explained best, if you watch the trailer for yourself!
